In Honor of National Poetry Month, a poem about letting go
I am in the copyediting process of my poetry collection “Tilt”. I will soon begin the submission process. I am excited and nervous as to how things will move from here. This project is near to my heart, as it focuses on family, trauma, grief and transformation from illness and the pandemic. It is also my very first poetry collection. Eek! I don’t know if it will be a chapbook, get picked up by a small poetry press or will be self-published, but I will take you, dear reader, along with me through the process. I am, of course, open to any advice.
